ਇਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੀਵਾਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਜਣਾ, ਬਿਨ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ
ਰੱਬ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੁਆਰੇ ਲਈ ਤੇਰਾ ਵੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ
     ਲੱਭਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਨਾਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ, ਆਏ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਤਾਰੂ ਬਣ ਕੇ
     ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਾਸ਼ਾਂ ਅੰਬ ਗਈਆਂ, ਸਾਗਰ ਦਾ ਕਿਨਾਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ
ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਰਾਤ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦਰਦਾਂ ਦੀ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਵਣ ਆਇਆ ਸਾਂ
ਪਰ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਚੁੱਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੁੰਘਾਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ
      ਅਗਲੇ ਜਨਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਸਾਥੀ
      ਮੇਰੀ ਮਜਬੂਰੀ ਬਖਸ਼ ਦਈਂ ਜੇ ਜਨਮ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਨਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ

Friendship - a great convenience ( सुविधा ) - 22.01.2012

I find friendship to be a great convenience. It gives you the freedom to be your natural self without any pressure to portray what you are not just to look polite, humble and formal. You are not bogged down by the fear of being rejected in being what you are. However, when a friend expects you to behave what you are not, this convenience is gone. This is what my following poem is all about:

                                    सुविधा 

बड़ी मुश्किल से मिली है ये सुविधा मुझे न छीनो इसे

मैं वोह कर सकूं जो है करना मुझे 

न सोचूं मैं यह कि तुम सोचोगे क्या 

बड़ी मुश्किल से मिली है ये सुविधा मुझे न छीनो इसे

तुम करो जो ग़लत तुम को रोकूँ जो मैं 

तुम कहो जो ग़लत तुम को टोकुं जो मैं 

मुझ को ख़तरा न हो तुम को खो दूँगा मैं
