Some relationships are because of your birth
Some because of your deeds
Some because of your religion
Some because of your Illusion
Some relationships are by blood
Some are merely because of law
Some because of your passion
Some are till you are alive
Some relationships are of your body
Some are of heart and mind
Some relationships are from your childhood
Some are just your distractions
Some relationships are because of your silliness
Some are because of your youthfulness
Some relationships spring out of your duties
Some are a debt you are obliged to discharge
Some relationships are your mistake
Some relationships are because of your entity
Some are because of your coolness
Some relationships are because of your wealth
Some are because of your fame
Some relationships are because of your merit, virtue and excellence
Some are because of your delicacies
Some relationships have come out of your hard work
Some are born out of love and affection
Some relationships you have simply forced
Some relationships are highly secretive
Some relationships are because of your helplessness
Some relationship are your responsibilities
Some relationships are because of your vices
Some relationships you just dream of
Some relationships are because you serve their interest
Some are simply because of your destiny
Some relationships are your choice
Some are because of your self interest
Some relationships motivate you
Some are merely give-and-take relationships
Some have sprung out of your fraud and treachery
Some relationships are because of your yes-man-ship
Some relationships are your compulsions
Some relationships are good only when at a distance
Some relationships are of near and dears
Some are because of your saintliness
Some relationships are very motherly
Some are caring and playful like a big brother
Some relationships are a bliss and pleasure
Some are very cool and sweet
Some relationships are only in your feelings
They remain alive in your hopes
Some relationships are like you live and breathe
They live and stay with you for ever
Some relationships are beyond calculations and very subtle
You only meet them in your dreams
Some relationships are only complaining and grieving
Some survive with a lot of continuous effort
Some relationships made you think
Some changed the direction of your life
Some relationships developed and flourished only for a moment
Yet they became a part of your life for ever
Whereas some age-old relationships
Got lost in the very first storm
Some relationships gave you a reason to live
Some made your life awful
Some relationships gave and bled your wounds
And some gave a magic touch to heal them
Some relationships, no matter what, have always been alive
Some simply dried and disappeared in your tough times
Some relationships meant nothing even when they were existing
Whereas some remained helpful even after having broken
This whirlpool of relationships
Creates a confusion as to
Which relationships are genuine
And which ones are fake
Or which ones are thick and deep
And which ones are bored and tired
But never attempt to remove the mask of this assortment of
Hard-nurtured and long-time relationships
And if ever you unmask them there will be a mess
Then don’t attempt to search and sift this clutter because
If you do, you would be
Frightened and scared
Then in this heap of bare and unmasked relationships
You will be lost and find yourself alone
And then you have to decide and make a choice as to
Whether the relationships, no matter what, are important to you
Or these are unnecessarily
And if you feel and chose that
The relationships are important to you no matter what
Then retain the bundle of unmasked relationships and keep walking
Whether or not
The relationship in the bundle of unmasked relationships
Are genuine or fake
Or recent or long-time
Or bored and tired
Since you have chosen that the relationships are important to you
Then yes, the relationships are really very important
